Qatar's National Cybersecurity Agency recommends updating systems used in Apple devices to iOS 15.6.1 to avoid any security risks or potential threats following the discovery of serious loopholes in Apple's system recently.

Apple said on Wednesday that "there are serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads, and Macs that could potentially allow attackers to take complete control of these devices."

Apple released updates to avoid these vulnerabilities, the National Cybersecurity Agency said in a statement on social media.

Apple has recommended an update for these versions:

Safari 15.6.1
macOS Big Sur
macOS Catalina

watchOS 8.7.1

Apple Watch Series3

IOS 15.6.1 - iPad 15.6.1
iPhone6s and later models
iPad Pro (all models)
iPad Air 2
iPad 5th generation
iPad mini 4
iPod touch (7th generation)

macOS Monterey 12.5.1
macOS Monterey

Security experts are warning that everyone should update immediately any Apple device they have as without the latest update, "a hacker could wrest total control of Apple devices, allowing the intruder to impersonate the true owner and run any software in their name."
