How to create email ids in cpanel

Creating email IDs in cPanel is straightforward. Here’s the clean, step‑by‑step method you can follow on any WHM/cPanel‑based hosting.

How to Create Email Accounts in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel

Use your domain/cPanel login URL, usually:

  • or the server IP with /cpanel

2. Go to “Email Accounts”

In the Email section, click Email Accounts.

3. Click “Create”

You’ll see a button on the right side: Create.

4. Choose the Domain

If your cPanel has multiple domains, select the correct one from the dropdown.

5. Enter the Email Username

Example:

  • info
  • support
  • sales
  • yourname

This becomes:
info@yourdomain.com

6. Set a Password

You can:

  • Enter your own strong password
  • Or click Generate to auto‑create one

7. Set Storage Space

Choose:

  • Default (e.g., 1024 MB)
  • Or Unlimited (if your hosting plan allows)

8. Click “Create”

Your email account is now active.

Optional: Configure Email on Devices

After creating the email, you can set it up on:

  • Outlook
  • Gmail App
  • iPhone Mail
  • Thunderbird

Go to Email Accounts → Connect Devices to get:

  • IMAP/POP settings
  • SMTP settings
  • Auto‑config files
